Samsung Screen Replacement Cost in Malaysia (2026)

Cost Guide

Samsung puts AMOLED displays in almost everything now. They look great, but they're expensive to replace compared to standard LCDs. Here's what you're actually looking at price-wise in Malaysia.

Samsung Screen Replacement Cost by Model

  • Galaxy A14 / A15: RM 250 – RM 400
  • Galaxy A34 / A35: RM 300 – RM 500
  • Galaxy A54 / A55: RM 350 – RM 550
  • Galaxy S21 / S22 / S23: RM 400 – RM 700
  • Galaxy S24 / S25: RM 500 – RM 800
  • Galaxy S21 Ultra / S22 Ultra / S23 Ultra / S24 Ultra: RM 600 – RM 1,000
  • Galaxy Z Flip series: RM 500 – RM 900 (outer or inner screen)
  • Galaxy Z Fold series: RM 800 – RM 1,200 (inner foldable screen)
  • Galaxy Note 20 / Note 20 Ultra: RM 500 – RM 900

Why Samsung screens cost more than you'd expect

  • AMOLED panels cost more to make than LCD.
  • On flagships, the glass, display, and touch layer are bonded together. You can't just replace the glass.
  • Curved edge screens on S and Note series are harder to install and harder to source.
  • S Pen models have an extra digitizer layer, which adds to the part cost.
  • Z Flip and Fold screens use UTG (Ultra Thin Glass), which is a whole different price tier.

Can you replace just the glass?

For most Samsung phones, no. The glass, AMOLED panel, and touch digitizer are fused into one piece. Some shops offer 'glass-only' repair using LOCA glue and UV curing, but we've seen too many come back with touch problems or yellow spots. We replace the full display assembly.

How long does it take?

1-2 hours. We check touch response, brightness, and the fingerprint sensor (if your model has one under the screen) before you leave. Walk-ins are fine, but booking ahead means we'll have the right part ready for your exact model.
