Can you just clean it instead?

Sometimes, yeah. If it's just clogged with dust, a good cleaning brings it back to normal. We check this first because there's no point replacing a fan that just needs a clean. But if the bearings are worn (that grinding noise) or the motor is dead (no spin at all), cleaning won't help.

Turnaround time
