Is your MacBook Pro 14" M4 Pro screen actually broken?
- Cracked glass, even if the display still works underneath.
- Black screen but you can hear the startup chime or feel the trackpad click.
- Bright spots, dead pixels, or colour bands running across the display.
- Flickering that gets worse when you tilt the lid (usually a display cable issue on 14.2-inch models).
- Notch area cracked or camera not working after a drop.
About the MacBook Pro 14" M4 Pro display
Your MacBook Pro 14" M4 Pro runs a 14.2-inch Liquid Retina XDR panel with ProMotion 120Hz. The notch houses the FaceTime camera and ambient light sensor, so if the top glass is cracked, the camera usually needs attention too. Powered by the Apple M4 Pro. The display connects to the logic board via a flex cable routed through the hinge, which is why hinge damage sometimes causes display issues.
What we actually do
- Full Liquid Retina XDR display assembly replacement, not just the front glass.
- Hinge inspection to make sure the flex cable isn't frayed or pinched.
- FaceTime camera and True Tone sensor tested after installation.
- True Tone calibration (where supported by the display).
- Full brightness, colour, and dead pixel check before handover.
Pricing & time
- Cost: RM 900 - RM 2,000
- Turnaround: 1-3 hours for most models
